Alma Rei is a worship project based out of Astoria, NY, and made up of Brazilian-American immigrants looking to express our creativity through worship. We wrote Solid Ground while searching for peace and rest in a world that is constantly in a hurry and realizing that the call to follow Jesus means coming to him with everything we have, including our burdens. We chose the ibex for our cover art because we believe it is a beautiful symbol of what it looks like to follow Jesus. He stands on steep cliffs and the mountains edge, but to the Ibex this is Solid Ground. It takes a lot of faith to walk in the Ibex's footsteps but there is nothing better than living a life of faith and knowing that every step we take is on Solid Ground. Thank you for taking the time to check out our new track and we hope that it would bring you peace in a chaotic world.

I’d Never Go by Milton Junior
Milton Junior is a singer–songwriter born in Brazil and raised in New York. He plays guitar, drums and saxophone, writes love songs on occasion and enjoys making art with his friends. He’s played music for most of his life starting in school bands, orchestras, marching band and more recently with the band Water and Man in NYC. He is an artist, designer and worship leader.

Hailing from Astoria, New York; the story of Suite Caroline is one that songwriter Xarol has spent her whole life writing. Born into a family of musicians, she was reading music before she could read words, and with classical piano as her foundation, she taught herself to play guitar, bass, and to compose her own songs. After a decade spent playing in different worship bands along the east coast, Xarol finally comes into her own with the release of her first single, "Answers", hoping to make an impact on the world with what she calls, "liberation songs."
Gabriel Marchesi was born in 1994 in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. At 13 years old, he started his musical history by participating in the worship ministry in his church. When he turned 19 years old, after finishing his studies in Brazil, he moved here to the United States to start his dream of creating music. Today at 24 years old, he is being produced by VCA Music, an independent label in Queens, NY and recorded his first single titled “Your Light Alone.” This song reminds us of how essential the light of God is in our lives so that we can walk the path that he laid out for us confidently and at peace.
